Swindon-Nepal friendship group hosts open evening

The Swindon-Nepal friendship group has hosted an information evening on Monday at the Central Library, Swindon. The event was focused on its work to promote cultural and educational links between Swindon and the Nepalese town Madhyapur Thimi.

In the event, chairman of the group Dr. Christine Tipper gave a short presentation and bring along cultural artefacts.

A representative from Lawn Manor Academy was present as part of efforts to establish links between the school and Glory English School in Nepal. It was followed by the question-answer series.
